I reviewed Wisc tennant landlord law and section 704 of the code and nowhere did I see a limit on length of lease when it comes to going beyond month to month.

Should I have a lawyer review our contracts?

A zoning attorney really only deals with zoning issues and what you want is a review of code requirements, zoning requirements, any potential historic protections, easements, etc.

I don't do tenant reviews / approvals, I am not a lawyer, so this is just a SWAG.2.
