Looking at this proposal from the side of the lender/partner, the debt service structure looks good (although I would ask for 10% on the no payments, balloon at end.

@Samuel MedinaConventional wisdom would probably say that, all else being held equal, the more units you can get, the better as you will likely tap into greater economies of scale....resulting in a lower cost structure...and a higher return on your investment.

Ultimately the business and the assets within it will be left to us down the road, so we will get paid to build and maintain it and have a ton of equity waiting in the (hopefully) distant future.If you are someone familiar with this area I am very open to paying for a consultation to brainstorm potential structures and setups.

STR will still offer rental income and you will hopefully have a good CPA who will structure your schedule E correctly for standard deductions and showing a positive net rental.

I KNOW a lot of you are going to be like “well that’s a very broad category”😆 I get what I’m trying to say is that, my mind is kind lost on how to structure what deductions under which label (very general) but what if it was for an “unusual” purchase.
