I am looking to get started in the wholesale aspect of things. 

What aspect of RE are you looking at getting into?

I'm actually more focused on the learning aspect at this point, I've been studying/researching actually for years now, kinda just sitting on the side lines.

It would be nice to hear if anyone else struggles with this and what you do to overcome the mental aspect of this journey.

Hi Charles,Lake County is soooooo business or landlord friendly compared to the Heights etc... it is an entirely different world in all aspects.  

Start using the calculators to get comfortable with the different aspects of calculating real estate deals.

Before that though, house-hacking was what we were considering in the next year or so to get our foot in the door and learn a little about being a landlord and some of the hands-on aspects of investing.I haven't considered doing any photography/ videography but that's a great idea.

I have a detail-oriented type a partner who complements my more strategic big picture mindset.
