Then there's Acadia National Park - not to mention the general scenic nature of the coastline. 

It seemed that half the members were stay-at-home moms trying to launch some home business to make some extra change (like selling petrulli oil and one was selling Avon similar products).  

Naturally, with my first goal, you would think this would be all poured into acquiring additional properties and while I am not opposed to that, we are expecting a baby in January so maybe the short term course of action is to find good partnerships where our capital can be leveraged in someone else's model for the time being.Our Problem - We do not have many/if any like minded people in our social circle that we feel comfortable lending capital. 

Due to the nature of our professions, we will very likely be back sometime in the future, and the way houses tend to appreciate in this area, it seems like a mistake to sell.

There are some who do even cheaper & don't charge full months rent as a leasing fee & things of that nature.........Lol good luck with those guys though.

I also do not stain my hard wood floors, but instead I put three coats of polyurethane on natural hard wood.

@Tim Bradley It is better that you are going into the BRRRR strategy with some perspective and experience with having invested before because your expectations will naturally be more realistic.

There is economic development coming through the area so I feel good about natural appreciation.

It's been a very profitable relationship for quite a number of years, yet it was a chance meeting years ago & we all clicked over breakfast.Its all chemistry & yours is like the proverbial oil/water scenario with some toxicity thrown in.
