The auto and the gun are not comparable by any meaningful metric, IMO.

. - props for having the stones to throw your metrics out there for the world to see and looking for tangible ways to improve them.  

This means steady mail, steady interviewing, steady hiring, steady eye on the metrics in your business, and steady investment in yourself.

What are the metrics for your area (arv, repair values, material cost) -know what a deal looks like, don't know how?

If Newbies or self styled experts have great content, then super, it can stand on its own, but the people with documented experience and expertise are a very strong draw in my opinion (I share Brandon's view); they add great value to BP, so I like Brandon Hall's idea of earning your line, like a real award for a set number of posts or awards or some metric.

However, while that is an important number,the real metric is deals done.

Then hope that everything fits considering that we are about the only country that doesn't use the metric system.

Be sure to track your metrics.
