But until unemployment decreases and these young adults find the jobs, income, and stability to buy or rent a home, I think many of them are going to remain "boomerang" kids and continue living with their parents, once again denying the rental market another household to service.Since housing is not as liquid as other investments, like stocks and bonds, everything tends to move like molasses.

(he's an oldie)...at any rate, i have sold a few properties on a contract for deed, and i have also sold a note from a contract for deed to an instituional note buyer...i'm in the process of selling another note that was a contract for deed as well, so i do have a little bit of experience...chris, my attorney puts a lien on the propety to protect the property buyer...i'm not sure if this is necessary or not, but it made the sale go easier, as it made them feel safer...you''ll see a lot of buyers get nervous when they here that you have a mortgage to pay..this is a safety feature for them basically...it protects them if youdecide to walk away, stop paying your mortgage, die, if the house burns down, if you decide to sell to someone else, etc.
