Luckily no real surprises other than the spot roof repair which was minor.It's definitely guesswork when acquiring deals quickly and on the fly, but can be at least well educated guesswork with some homework and the advice and knowledge of a good experienced contractor.

From here networking and education are of highest priority!

It will cost you some money but you will also get a good education.

We have one person looking to invest with us, one family member willing to take out second or HELOC for the remainder of the funds, another wanting to do most of the work, and myself that would run the money, and day to day business operations, design ect.

I hope I provide enough information to get educated responses.

I’m also new to BP and RE investment so doing a lot of educating myself on the concepts, jargon, knowledge base.

So glad you've already plugged into the Bigger Pockets podcast - that was a huge source of education for me when I first started. 

I'm in my education phase right now and I've determined that I want to start out with an FHA house hack (hopefully a 4 plex).

In may areas Multi family provides inferior returns in today's market.
