I'm also considering charging a higher rent due to the potential for additional wear and tear.If you have experience with tenants who own horses, could you share your insights?

So if your getting a warranty from Lennar or DR horton thats one thing if its a local builder that you really dont know their financial strength you need to take that into consideration.

Plus the added tax benefits to support my current situation ($120k a year as a "single" person with "0" dependents Uncle Sam definitely gets his cut) A home my family and I could use in the off seasons on vacation plus creating a unique experience with lifelong memories for our guests sounds great to me, regardless of whether it cash flows.

My experience- you can get a lot more money through AirBnB but the process with Furnished Finders is much easier, more transparent and allows you to review potential guests more thoroughly.

But of course not everything in life is a financial consideration, if it makes you sleep better then sell it.
