The basement ceiling is low.

New floors upstairs, new stairs, new paint, new furniture, light fixtures, toilets, ceiling fans, etc etc.. 

The ceiling is bright white, the walls get one color, the trim gets another, stone work gets a third, often darker, color than the trim.Go with the cheap stuff, just be sure to get the right kind of paint.

It's a 4 bedroom 3 bathroom with nice ceiling size, good curb appeal, etc.

Pipe insulation, floor tiles, ceilings, shower surrounds, exterior siding, insulation, etc.Lead pipes or lead solder.

I have seen several people break the ceilings in terms of ARVs lately.  

Meant  to add.. and if we didn't finish completely we'd come back and do touch up after new tenant was in. they were usually busy unpacking so could have cared less if we had to put up a blind or replace ceiling fan type, or add a new toilet seat.. 

The ceiling height is typically around 7 or 8 feet.

It was your pretty standard flip, but there were 4 things that we made mistakes on that ended up costing us: (a) Comps didn’t support our ARV (1 comp did, but that was it), (b) contractor forgot to leave room for a fridge on the one wall – yikes, (3) garage door was too short to fit anything inside besides a car (Sorry, no Soccer Mom’s) and (4) we didn’t fix the terrible popcorn ceilings in front room and it was a huge eyesore as soon as you walked in.

People's middle class debt to income ratio and ton of it is now going to rent and about the hit a ceiling of what they can pay.
