Its short term pain, but honestly every time my wife and I have settled on a tenant we didnt feel good about, we have gotten burned. 

And it sounds like its going to mean a shot at even more upward mobility in the future.  

I've also thought about getting it subdivided and setting mobile homes, we could probably set at least 10, thoughts? 

The one thing it does allow you to be is mobile.

As a result, it's not uncommon to become worn down and ultimately burn out.

But it's something to consider.If the property is "totaled", like it burns to the ground. 

I'd think is a really good example of the sorts of felonies that actually do unfairly target a lot of minorities (for pot anyway, heroin dealers can all burn in hell as far as I'm concerned) At the end, they do give some concrete advice, like removing questions from applications that ask about arrests not resulting in convictions, have a written policy that you stick to, and document all your decisions and why you made them.

Some people didn't ever see that coming and were burned when that happened.
