For those that have been successful with direct mail, what do you usually pay for your lists? 

I know of a couple not sure if they are hiring or would be a good fit for you but they seem to be successful. 46:10 group, or Templeton group in AZ may be a couple to check out.

I've just started the online course through Real Estate Express and plan on completing it before I make the trip home.I do have some money saved up to keep me afloat for a few months while I get into the business but I'm just looking for any advice or tips towards being a successful agent and making a salary as soon as possible once I start.

I'm wondering what other strategies on top of aggressive pricing others are having success with when it comes to attracting buyers to your resale listing and away from new construction.One thought that I have had is to add a BTSA for the buyer's agent.

One thing you can do is find a successful local investor (on BP or at a local real estate meetup) and offer him/her value (show their rentals to potential tenants, offer to find them deals, etc).

In this case it would have saved a succession of buyers, and who knows how many future bidders, thousands of dollars.
