Assuming an average 8% CoC return and factoring in none of the backend, if I invested a total of $5MM into several syndications (assuming some of the windfall went to taxes), we would yield $400,000 annually.Depending on your current and future desired lifestyle you could continue to live modestly, and reinvest a large portion of the dividends earned. 

I wouldn't do this to fund personal expenses or growing my lifestyle.

Also, there are a lot of people who are interested in the minimalist/mountain lifestyle and come to colorado specifically for that purpose.  

In 2015 I will- double my income from last year- use the advice and accountability of my mentors & colleagues to avoid shiny objects and stay focused on my goals and business plan- start reintroducing "social" into my life and not be consumed by work (that includes taking real vacations)- continue to grow my business(es) in ways that will allow me to step out of them but still be sustained by them so I can achieve my long-term lifestyle goals- oh yeah, and kick some major ***!
