Whatever you work out, always start from the premise that the investor is going to be offering whatever is best for them, so I wouldn't worry too much about "giving" them anything.

If wholesaling doesn't work out then my plan is still to ferret away money some other way a little at a time until I have a nice down payment saved up for a rental property.
