During wet or icy weather it was downright treacherous.  

Hey Jim,First of all congrats on more than getting your feet wet and just jumping in with both feet.

Other things I like other than not coughing up so many fees:1. if i dont need the money, i pay no interest.

It takes time to get your feet wet, but your firm should be able to provide support.  

It can be considered false hope of getting out of a bad situation, when in fact if I can't find a buyer, my "subject to" clause gets me out of the deal and leaves them hanging wet in the sun.

I have yet to get my feet wet in investing. 

Since I live in the D.C. area, this seems like a decent enough opportunity to get my feet wet with real estate while learning the market at the same time.

Since I am just getting my feet wet, I am looking for a mentor as well.I have read the Beginner's Guide and enjoy listening to the podcasts.

I have a 1940's house that had a back door that opened out, it was in pretty bad shape from always getting wet from being opened in the rain.

I feel that it's good strategy to get my feet wet with SFH for now.
