Hello,Just looking for interested parties and or references for construction companies looking to build in Will County IL.First of all I want to know what I can expect to get for investing $60-75,000 in building a new home from the ground up?  

 Account Closed I am a bit late to this party but wanted to offer some perspective not directly mentioned in this thread.

As a design professional but not a licensed architect I know that in Tennessee I can legally design any residential dwelling as long as it is no more than two units.

So just completed a home/termite inspection on a duplex, found termite residues (State of NC defines it as active termite infestation), there is minor noticeable damage on the shoe molding on the floor but no signs of wear and tear on the wall but I nor the inspector cannot tell without ripping apart the wall how bad the infestation is- the seller is willing to pay for a termite extermination but my concern is how much damage these termites have already done on the inside of my walls that I cannot see- is there a termite expert professional I can hire to inspect the home more in depth during my due diligence period or anyway for me to get a peace of mind for this matter? 

And yes, we are very thorough with inspections and have no issues with people bringing in their own appraiser if they want a third party opinion, as long as we have time to vet them beforehand.

I tried this with one of my very first tenants - an Amazon employee - and despite every party doing everything "correctly," it just didn't work.

With no false modesty, I would put my basic floor tile installation technique up against any other professional's in my area.

So, that part is correct.
