Hey BPers,For 2019 I made it a goal to meet with at least one potential private money lender per week.

@Chris MartinLooking at a map of Raleigh right now with the last 6 months of sales prices overlaid with what’s currently offered for rent reveals that properties renting in the $1300-1400 range are in areas selling at around $200k or less.

Im just starting out I’ve received a lot of advice to the effect of “look at as many properties as you can”.While there are some open houses in the area, I wanted to know what common etiquette would be surrounding a private tour of a home?

I am just getting into private lending myself.

At the city council meeting last night, there was a lot of talk about the Bert Harris Act/Private Property Rights Protection Act, and the number of lawsuits that would follow in the wake of this ordinance if it passes.

On the new one the 'private money partner' brough ALL the down payment (20%), my other partners and I will do ALL the work, and we will split short and long term profits 50-50.

But I think I might try to convince Facebook that I'm a doctor in private practice; maybe there they will assume an IQ of 90 or 100 and hand out level 9 or 10 information as the "free teaser," stuff that even lawyers would have to pay for.BTW writing things like "That paragraph isn't useful or interesting, the following is..." is the sort of tagline from one of the free lawyer webinars, but that you will not find in free lender webinars. 

I would of course recommend trying to get to the root of it and conquering it, but if it's not something you forsee yourself doing in the near future then doing  syndication/private money lending might be your best fit.
