Appraisals typically take into account the physical condition of a property, its location, comparable sales in the area, and other factors that may affect its value.

As the title states, I am looking to discover what real estate investors (potential mentors) find valuable in a relatively inexperienced individual like myself.I want to provide as much value as possible in all the right avenues to develop the most opportunities and relationships that I am able to.I'd also like to physically interact with and meet these investors, so I've decided to start attending local REI Group meetings and reaching out to those I know to identify people who may be able to point me in the right direction.

I was worried that I may need to write a physical check each time I am making distribution from LLCs to personal account and may need to pay tax on that at year end but as you mentioned I should be ok.

I know a few that operate in that area, but they aren't physically located there necessarily. 

We don't mind paying them the 4% commission since we think this could be a good tenant (physical therapy franchise). 

I'm starting a search on multifamily investment properties and coming across some areas that I'm unfamiliar with and wanted to see if there was something out there that could help me compare different locations before I go out to physically look at the properties.
