I am also wondering if it would be worth borrowing money from parents to be able to say I am putting in “cash offer” but not sure how that whole thing would work.

Until then I am not wasting my time trying to impart knowledge on someone who is not interested.I will always be here as a resource to them but I will never force feed them anything.I know that is not what you were looking for but it is just my perspective on parenting young adults.

Hello everyone I feel like I'm gonna get some flack for posting this but to those of you who wanna complain bust out those keyboard you warrior you.So basically my father received inheritance from his parents.

Growing up I did not have much education on how to keep a steady income as my mother raised us as a single parent and was working paycheck to paycheck with 7 kids.

But by the sounds of it, it could just be kids sleeping in the bed with parents or on a couch.

My parents have a duplex with bad tenants in both units.

My initial inclination was to just give notice that anything in the general area as of a certain day would be tossed/donated but I'm now thinking there might be a better way to address the issue.I'm considering building additional and/or larger storage spaces and giving the tenants the opportunity to rent them for a monthly fee. 

If you want to be charitable, rent the apartments at market rate and then donate $500 a month to people in Africa that can't even get a drink of clean water.
