Good day, I’m in the New Britain market. 

The dude does not really seem to care much about charging us much higher as long as he gets his full 180k as he would if he'd list it on the market.

We originally hoped to rent as a mid term rental in a smaller town with a hospital, but the market quickly became oversaturated for the small demand so we decided to shift to long term rentals on both sides.

Do we charge market rent?

I was not interested at 1.2 mil but became motivated buyer when I could buy it for 800 and get 100k of upside I said sure why not..3.   3 houses  125k closing i put up all the money  he had two of them sold for 100k and that closed 5 days after we bought it so basis on the last house is about 25k .. and its on the market for 89k. 

As I'm developing my marketing strategy for house hacking, I want to emphasize and understand who my potential roommates are and what their potential needs are.I envision the tenant to be a young professional or student looking for housing, but I would like to gather more insights:Amenities and Needs:What sort of amenities and features do young professionals and students typically look for in a rental property?

I know a lot of investors who have been pivoting to the secondary markets like Sumter, Florence, Orangeburg, etc.

It’s very likely a tenant would have limited resources to be able to market the property.hope it helps!
