Hey I'm trying to get my feet wet and learn more about real estate investing.

From my experience (I could be wrong) there isn't a format but the estimate should list details like the materials to be ordered and the hours of labor needed for each repair project (for example the kitchen cabinet installation or exterior doors) along with a cost listed for each line item.

I guess I’d like to learn more about investing in bigger commercial deals….. what are the requirements?

At this point, I am willing to consider subscribing to a data service if that is going to give me access to all or virtually all of the items of information I need.

It's been a big learning curve to find out that properties in better areas are a far wiser choice.

Oddly, several people post about how exciting the learning they paid the $8,900 mentor program is, but no one seems to have done a deal or made money from it.

However, the largest line item in any new home construction cost for this type of home is the Builder, followed by the framing package and then the foundation system. 

I live in Ca, but I’m looking to learn all about Washington state (Seattle) markets.
