Some of the best guys I have ever hired have come from a FAR distance and I have paid them to come to me.

Also, I know reading the BP forums makes it seem like everyone else is crushing it and you're not, and you're "losing out" somehow, but that's just not true, and every month that goes by is more cash you can save up.I agree with the others - pick a lower cost market that's within driving distance, and see what you think. 

I am also halfway done with David's book on long distance investing.

I realize long-distance traditional fix and flips are risky, especially for an inexperienced investor.

If not, i'm looking to Long Distance Invest in a less expensive market place.For you, you could do both.

If I could invest anywhere in FL and the distance wasn’t an issue it would be west coast as far north as pastor county and as far south as Naples.

Not necessary, but it was super helpful.At the very least, I'd suggest reading David Greene's Long Distance Real Estate Investing book.Good luck!
