Does anyone have any idea what these black marks/protrusions are in this brick siding?

I think i will grow my network (Maybe i'll see you at the Black Diamond meet-up this week) and look for properties where the numbers make sense.

Just be aware, that there are whole sections of Atlanta, that are black listed by section 8.

Some of the things that came up: some black mold was revealed after kitchen demo, on the drywall where the kitchen meets the master bath.

However, whether you invest here or elsewhere, I still think there is value in deeply contemplating the question of why it is so much more expensive ... that is a rhetorical question for you to noodle on, but my advice is to think long and hard to understand the factors that go into it as it will help you see the REI world in color so to speak rather than in black and white like most newbies (no offense intended to you or other newbs).

Short notice but the Black Diamond event in Waltham is a great one and is tomorrow (Tues the 28th) and is worth getting out to if you can make it.  

Most things are more east but you have the Black Diamond meeting in Worcester that is a must go to for you.
