I don't want to be the negative person here, however Bend has historically cycled fiercely and we are back up at the way too high price range. 

We are a practical people and we want to see that you're adding something to our state, not taking anything away.When asked, always emphasize that you choose Maine (even if that's an embellishment of the truth), and you're proud to be a local.

We are so incredibly new but ready to learn all we can to help supplement our income and eventually be able to live off the passive income and not worry about a thing.

We also have a SFH investment property in Charlotte, NC with about 11 years remaining on the mortgage (the rental income covers the monthly mortgage and the taxes.)We have some cash available and we are considering purchasing an investment property in Duck, NC (where we have been going for years on family vacations.)
