If you are trying to live cheap and want to live in the actual city where you can walk to downtown and experience the city then I suggest places that are just outside Center City but still manageable either walking, biking, or a quick subway ride. 

The financial sector isn't leaving and manufacturing in the greater area is already non existent.Either way the next 5 years will be an interesting ride in the area.

We feel the 7-10 year period will allow us to ride out whatever happens and then we can use the cashflow to buy more real estate whether it’s on sale or not.

If you only knew what these dogs go through with some owners, you'd sympathize a bit more...being left in a cage and beating the cage with a stick to build aggression...putting two dogs on treadmills face to face, inches apart, but  tied up so they can't reach each other to build aggression...throwing two dogs in the trunk of a car and riding around till one kills the other...OP, it's unfortunate what happened to your husband and I hope he heals very quickly.

I agree Ron, I think their approach is extreme but somethings I agree with, like getting ride of ceiling fans and garbage disposals.

I'm in Montgomery county and have to yet to take a ride up there.

One will fit you better than others.The ride is the greatest - hop on!
