If you want to remove the tub, I'd make the shower the entire length of that wall (or close to it).

Electric needed up date, Plumbing had alot of issues, the house was full of stuff left from the last people to live there, holes in walls, needed paint, hardwood floors needed to be sanded and re-finished, and bought appliances as there were none.

If you have no cash be careful, renovating as I am sure you know, can be expensive and when you open up walls on old houses you may be looking at a can of worms.

If, god forbid, I ever get into trouble and my back is against a wall, I can file for bankruptcy and get out of bad credit card debt, bad business debt, bad mortgage debt etc, but not bad student loan debt.

The basement, like the one you saw, had several inches of water in it due to a large horizontal crack in the block foundation wall about 2 feet off the floor.

I'm hoping the wall can be extended out, although that takes away from bedroom.FYI The garage was converted to bedroom and this utility closet was added in back.
