I am curious for those of you who regularly post on BP to hear a little about how you spend your time.

But I'd still prefer to do a deal in my area as opposed to a long distance deal - at least for my first one in awhile..Here's what I'm thinking of doing:1) get a regular income producing 9-5 job and be miserable for awhile.

Since my regular team was experiencing a large volume of no-heat calls (it's been extremely cold and windy for the past few days in our area), I called in a different HVAC person.

What's up BP Canada Family.Something some friends and I do that I've found really effective is to Mastermind regularly to keep everyone on-track, focused, and accountable towards their goals.

When this was done a family of 6 was above, with kids who would flood the bathroom regularly.

All the Rich Dad books (but they are full of motivation and mindset, but don't have any actual substance), I read and listened to many podcasts, while driving for my regular job, or while working on my "side gig" where I cut, split, and delivered firewood after work hours.

One tell tale sign that the system is not working is if the owner is pumping on a regular basis.Do not be scared off just because of a septic system.  

He/she should be extremely responsive, within a 1-2 hour response time during regular business hours and 8-12 hour response time on the weekends. 

This will allow you to engage with people in your market as well as people interested in your area(s) of expertise.I also like putting in searches on the Bigger Pockets search bar for "Queens, New York" to see who are some of the local players I haven't yet connected with.A few other things; post regularly on these forums, comment on blog posts, try to make a few new connections each week.
