Is this 'shadow BOD' endorsed in any way by the "official BOD"?

Here's the language I often see in corporate emails.

The PM can but only if there is very specific language in the agreement giving that responsibility to the PM.

Though I have spent countless hours reading the BP Forums, this is my first official post.

The TREC contract is definitely more formal but some people want the assurance that the docs they are signing are "official".

Learning some of the language and acronyms will help you understand some of the posts and the underlying rules they are talking about.
