My experience with attorneys is that don't venture into unfamiliar waters usually, if something feels like it's beyond their scope of expertise they will make a referral or point you in the right direction.I suggest you stay away from those that advertise on TV, really good attorneys don't need to advertise. :)

Douglas,We've developed some economies of scale and definitely a lot of buying power with our contractors due to the number of renovations we do, but I would assume our model ("contract everything out at the best price and highest quality possible") is very similar to your business.

We have way more interesting stories when we hang out with friends.Also, our net worth is increasing faster than it could with the conservative "pay off all debt and save" model.

It does need structural columns replaced in the basements which is a caution, as well as rear decks being replaced as the are build on cinders and not ground anchored.Here's where I need the expertise from BP!

I definitely wouldn't make this type of transaction part of my business model.

We build complex analysis applications for businesses so that they can take better and faster decisions by brigning to light their information in a easy to play with model.

Just because it may not fit a wholesale model does not mean its a 'dead lead' there can still be money to be had.Get creative..
