My view is that I can get a higher return by parking that cash in real estate as opposed to having some fund manager get me marginal returns on my savings.Appreciate any thoughts or comments.

We were thinking of buying in Columbus, OH, Indianapolis, IN and Salt Lake city.

And if tenants won’t buy, get them out then list with an agent.

You could even use this strategy with your extra cash to buy in cash, do light remodel, and then cash out refinance most if not all your equity.
