So I am currently going into my sophomore year of college and I have realized the crucial time of my life that I am in.

In it's current condition it may not be financable and even if so, every buyer is going to be turned off by a squishy old worn out roof.

That being said, it doesn't do a whole lot for you at your stage of life.2.

Many times it's a result of life's unavoidable circumstances. 

What @Matt K. stated was correct, the property taxes are high here and in certain areas the prices are high as well.....but based on the current market conditions for real estate all over the world......Everything is much  higher than normal.

What if any conditions of the purchase offer should I be listing in order to better protect myself from potential issues with transfer of the leases into my companies name?

Lived here all my life, aside from four years at The College of Wooster (that's Wooster, OH, not Worcester, MA) and a few months living in Medellín, Colombia.

But like anything else in life, it's all about your goals and ambitions!

If you have a family, work 3 jobs to feed those little mouths and you just don't have enough hours in a day to do this on your own.. sure.. that is a good reason to get a mentor, HOWEVER if this IS your life, I still doubt you will make it simply because you have other priorities.

I'm not sure that he really did anything in violation of the forum rules, but I'd be happy to block his negativity from my life.
