I want to do the following to the place now that we are in the process of moving in:1) New carpeting of about 800-1000 sq ft2) Want to finish a room in the basement 3) Wife is not happy with the granite in kitchen, so want to rip it out and replace and enlarge the island area in kitchen4) Need some plumbing work done5) Want to rip out the shower and tub in master and modernize6) Iron balusters on stairs 6) Need A/C work done And a few other odds and ends.If anyone in Atlanta has any recomendations I would greatly appreciate it.

Lots of people think it will be easy picking up a 10k house and renting for 600$ but unless your local the odds are set against you succeeding.

Myself, I am not that into seller financing especially now.Alot of forecasters believe higher inflation will be coming.

Odds are that the higher rent you are holding out for will be eaten up by the days (weeks) it takes to find the renter willing to pay the premium.It may be that your unit has better amenities, but that those particular amenities aren't all that important to your renter demographic.

A "contractor" who is wearing the tool belt, doing the work, 99.9% odds that he does not have "major" discounting power BECAUSE HIS TIME IS SPENT DOING THE INSTALLS.

The banks are the most to blame and quite frankly, caused the inflated pricing which was artificial anyways, now expecting the unsuspecting homeowners to pony up for the losses.

Only once its inspected does the Real Estate agent have to disclose any repairs needed.Though that does seem a bit odd to give such a short and some what rude answers.

It's almost twice your current rate, but still far below inflation.
