It's not a complete killer, but it does impact returns.. so there's one big advantage!

In the event of a foreclosure, it is not possible to get inside the house, thus potential buyers are forced to use clues from the outside of the house. 

Prepayment penalities are a significant part of that decision and can impact the decision to sell.

Plus we have taken care of the tax impact on the Subdivision land on our own timing.

So are we doomed to inherit condemned houses and be forced to sell them at really low prices?
