@Randy Gleysteen Tax laws do vary from state to state but an experienced CPA should be able to understand and abide by multi-state tax laws and filing requirements.For example, my CPA license is in the state of NY but I work with clients nationwide.

Another way I will support purchasing SFH's is to have a General Contractor that lives where you are buying out of state and you feel they are trustworthy, experienced and communicates well.Be careful when paying for work done except for maybe an upfront fee for materials.
