For us "newbies" connecting and engaging with people already in the game is imperative.  

I do offer in person mentoring sessions based on what I have experienced, something I do on a very small scale because i enjoy it and like making real connections.  

Our upcoming Deal Maker Sessions is this Monday night (free--wholesalers present non-MLS investment grade properties).

Looking to learn in this group, engage in conversation and form friendship and business relationships.

I look forward to being engaged in the BP community and learning as much as possible. 

I did join TREIA and am planning to join couple of sessions they have coming up in early April (including the 'New Investor' session that I am looking forward to.

@Tommy Sessions so if it is a general contractor that is doing the non-mechanicals, I.e., the flooring, the drywall, painting, etc. would you consider that type of contractor to not be the right type to pay hourly?

I found it helpful to learn about wholesaling and other RE things, but I have very little interest in engaging those things.
