If a prospective tenant passed the screening but refused to give the landlord a key during lease-signing (despite attempts to reach a mutual agreement), can the landlord still reject the applicant and start over?

I try to get 100 dials in per day; it is important to be consistently prospect for business.

We have been getting calls from prospective tenants that speak no English.

Credit rating, criminal background( check with state laws on this).Pets vs. no pets, list of dangerous breeds not allowed.....We have list of qualifications that we give to prospective tenants BEFORE they fill out an application.This way it saves everyone involved time and money,and you protect yourself by treating all interested parties with the same guidelines.

With federal/ state eviction moratoriums, have you continued to work with marginally credit challenged tenant applicants or adjusted your applicant criteria?

I would try to get feedback with the prospects on why they didn't like the house and work with some of the notes there.
