Hi BP Family,I just moved to the Philadelphia area with my wife and daughter from San Diego and don't currently have any true income coming in.

HelloI'm a 28-year old guy living on the West coast of Jutland with soon to be wife and my small daughter.

It's something I've thought about for years, and now that my daughter is older I actually may have the time to do it.Looking forward to sharing experiences and knowledge with everyone here at the BiggerPockets forum.

As you probably inferred,  I am active duty military and had hoped to stay in NC because that's where I will be investing, but it is much better for my wife and daughter to be close to the rest of my family so we are heading back home.  

Our daughter will be going to college in pensacola, and we will be moving somewhere between there or destin .   

While I haven't gotten to the point of sitting down and writing down my goals and plan (it will probably happen this weekend while my wife/daughter are out of town), my first inclination is SFH buy and hold properties that I can build low and slow growth...and evolve from there.

We are now currently about 5 years into a 15-year mortgage that we refinanced in 2010.I'm now thinking about doing a cash-out refinance now to pay off credit card debt that we accrued while my wife wasn't working and staying home with my daughter (cc debt is now down to about $45K from $55K when I started repaying).

I lived there for 15 years, raised a daughter there who went to great schools and the other tenant (in duplex) lived there for over 25 years.

We sold to move onto a longer-term renovation project we plan to be in for 10 years while our daughter is in school in a great location.

I am semi-retired and looking to supplement my retirement income with Real Estate and build a business that I can leave with my daughter and Grand Kids!
