The mental illness alone shouldn’t be much of an issue (unless it makes them violent), and assuming someone else is sort of looking after them.

My daughter and I bought a house together in 2018.

I'm an Electrician, so I'm in construction, but the goal is to hire out the work, because I also have a wife and two beautiful daughters.

You know how you can get in a mental rut and get tunnel vision, and overlook the extremely obvious right in front of you??

I think before you spend the next decade working your tail off, you might give more consideration to precisely what you'll do with all the time and extra mental capacity you'll have by not worrying about money. 

For me it might be an opportunity to buy a house for my daughter to live in while she attends Emory University.
