Both smelled terribly and the back unit had a thick smoke coloring and smell.Cleaned, Kilz, painted to get rid of the smoke.

I’ve found some white mold scattered around the basement area “white mold is like baby mold, once it matures it will change its color” it’s not too much mold and it’s only in a few different spots.

Also look at all the houses on the MLS in your price range to see how they were updated (esp. bathrooms, floors, paint colors).

This was relatively high as the few rental comps in the neighborhood were between $2200 and $2800 for dark dingy unrenovated houses.
