I'm new to the commercial side of investing, and have been researching and doing my homework on Self-Storage facilities.

Leave the kids to themselves without parental supervision, living in close quarters, sharing facilities, and you may have created a near full time job.   

I figure condos are easier since HOA covers things like roof, facilities, etc, and if they're cash-flowing, I'm not as worried about the slower appreciation that comes with condos.Has anyone done this or something similar? 

I just want to get home and count money while cooking dinner and drinking beers.
