You can ask that they arrange a specific time/date when they will come to remove all of their belongings at once. 

You have to make sure that the insurer is comfortable with your arrangement. 

So it is less about whether this can or can't work, and more about each of your personalities individually...also do realize one of the biggest things I do run into is others finding the arrangement unusual...and not being able to comprehend.
