i'm interested in a storage unit warehouse in east tn. that currently has 35 units and the ability to add 30 to 35 more all in a 10400 sq ft warehouse under 1 roof. the property has space for boat and equipment storage outside. there is a small college just a couple of blocks away. but the building isn't on a main road.It will also need added security and fence upgrades.Its listed for 154,000.

Once you get south of 75th certain blocks can be rough. 

I'm not sure I was super helpful there, but sometimes just hearing another perspective, or even just an echo of your own thoughts can help you work through a mental block.  

That very block and a few others within a quarter mike radius. 

Sewer gas can then come up out of the drainpipe.

There's a new apartment complex a few blocks away and they are breaking ground on another nearby.

My concern is: will it be more difficult to find a buyer if the home is not built with block?

This is hopefully not as complicated as it might sound, but was wondering if any of the great minds on this forum have thoughts on best strategy for current situation.My husband's parents are fortunate enough to own two properties:House #1: A bungalow a few blocks from the beach in Venice Beach, CA - purchased for basically nothing in the 80s, own outright, probably worth about $1.2 million (guessing).House #2: A 3bed 2 bath amazing view house with guest house in Topanga, CA - purchased for basically nothing in the 80s, has a 350k mortgage on it, probably worth about $2 million.

We went by his house just a block from this land and tried to have a talk with him but he just wanted us to leave a bunch of paperwork with him and he'd get to it "in a few weeks".
