Do you invest in these Qualified Opportunity Zones (which can potentially be rough areas) for the tax deferral and appreciation benefits if the cash flow is not as good as another area?

The benefit of a Series LLC is that you can form unlimited “children” series under the main “parent” series LLC structure.

Just started learning about the tax and legal benefits of RE investing.

In the case of Equity deals (which I believe Fundrise does exclusively, but am not 100% on that), the investor receives both depreciation and other tax benefits of owning real estate. 

Of course our goal is to increase our operating income and net cash flow, thereby taking advantage of a growing market and benefiting the community.  2 questions...1) When do you know it's time to hire an employee?

I am just worried if there are a numerous amounts of things that I should be preparing for before starting my classes or even if the classes will go over them?

There have been numerous people on BP talking about how they paid application fees but they could never get their loans closed on any deal brought to the company.

Do part time jobs have any benefit in this situation?

I am also pretty familiar with the S-Corp and work with other investors who are using them.Ultimately, I would say it's important to just meet with an attorney and a CPA so you can measure out the cost/benefit of each structure and pick the one that fits your portfolio and goals.
