@Tim V.Recently I had the same issue but the 1st inspector was helping me but after he was relocated it the next inspector was a pain in the xxx... at the end the called a few more items making me to spend an extra 6k.

I disagree with @Jonathan Greene especially since the vast majority of agents in my experience are part time.

The answer, “one bite at a time.”Getting into REI is no different for the majority of people who do it.

What was done without permits, what was done haphazardly, what is behind walls or unseen that can cause you issues later. 

With a substantial portion of this debt held by banks and regulators pushing for decreased exposure to CRE, liquidity becomes a pressing issue.

I house hacked with 4 roommates (at one point split my bedroom and had a 5th roommate) and it wasn't fun, came home and had to deal with issues, fixed problems, had some awkward/difficult encounters, but it was all part of the process and well worth it.

Did you have any issues with the tenants that quit paying the monthly fee?

The repairs are an issue that you could get beat up on if they are in bad shape for new buyers.

I found a city to invest in that is by a major national park but it is more of a metro city.
