In these cases it's recommended to view the entire property as an investment (as if it was fully occupied by tenants) run your numbers, and then just happen to live in one of the units instead of collecting rent.

I like the prohibition on commercial vehicles, boats, RV's, etc. cluttering the place up.Sorry if I somehow gave you the impression that I can't use code enforcement in my HOA, I am in fact doing just that currently as a result of the HOA not enforcing some policies even after contacted repeatedly.
