With four prospective future college tuitions and the ever-increasing price of admission financial freedom is a must. 

May be I will slow down around age 50 and I hope real estate gives me the freedom to do that. 

Hey @Christine Krevalin - wow, thanks for sharing and happy to hear that you're in a much better situation now than before (I mean owning your own home and on track to financial freedom). 

@Brandon Heimsoth - I hear/see this a lot about the freedom to withdraw all Roth IRA deposits free and clear whenever you want, except I find conflicting info from the IRS regarding qualified distributions:https://www.irs.gov/publications/p590b/ch02.html#e...  

My problem is that while I make a decent income in assignment fees it does not provide me the financial freedom and I see the monster share of profits go to the investor/buyer who is usually NOT me.

Our son Kieran who will be 3 in October, and our daughter Posie who will be 1 in December.We are both ALL-IN on REI because we realize this is our path to financial freedom.

Do it a 3rd time and you are living rent free, where you want, with the freedom to move when you want, and you are building equity in 3 houses. 

I love this world and the potential for freedom!

But I've always had a passion for writing, and when I achieve full financial freedom (because it WILL happen), I plan on focusing more on writing screenplays for film and TV. 

When I sign a new tenant I explain the M2M is to their benefit allowing them the freedom to leave if the relationship does not work out.
