I agree the area isn't exactly the ideal spot that we're looking for in terms of prime rental opportunities, although I did like that it is very close to the more desirable neighborhoods.

That would include down payment, closing costs, rehab, and any other up front costs.Timeline: In an ideal world we’d be all moved in 6 months from now, but we are flexible.

Ideally my brother and I would buy the property together and form an LLC and run as a business.However, my wife doesn't want to enter a "business" relationship with my brother, but instead suggests that we purchase the properties individually (since they are both on seperate deeds).

There also no income tax, reasonable property tax, and I also have a very bullish outlook on the Jax market due to the new development projects currently underway and the planned Shad Khan shipyard/entertainment district.
