They have a college kid and some out of state relative visiting occasionally.

I am a Senior in college at Grand Canyon University.

I graduated from college with a business degree with emphasis in real estate and I went ahead and got a broker license in 1980.  

I would do some secondary market research half way through your flip to determine how much you could possibly rent the house for vs how much you anticipate being able to make on the flip (you would know this anyway if you were looking at your variance to your original budget).That being said, if the property happens to be in a high rental area (like around the colleges in WB) it might make sense to rent considering you will have a consistent flow of new renters. 

I graduated with a finance degree before starting on my MBA, so I was thinking of taking a job after college in banking or in something related to mortgages/real estate.

My first job out of college was an assistant trader/doing grunt work for all the traders.

I’ll be starting out as out as an agent, and college isn’t for me.

Is it worth thinking about or do we all stick to nothing but Brady and Farwell /east side, renting around the college, River West, bay view, brewers Hill, Walkers point, and follow the herd?

Right now I am looking at a 4plex in a college town, the price is right but it is about 50-60 minutes away. 240k, rent 610/each — would I be stretching myself too thin?

My husband and I have 1 rental property in Laramie, WY (college town), own our primary home, and are interested in buying rentals in other markets.
