In the packet we would put ways to save your property etc.I only did this for about 3 months before moving on to other things.I still listed short sales but went about it differently.When we door knocked some would appreciate the help.Others we found a tenant that didn't know the property was foreclosing.Once had a Chinese guy drunk walking down the street.He denied he was being foreclosed on and said the government was out to get him.Another guys faced turned dark red and said please leave with his whole body shaking with his fists.One had about 5 pitbulls jumping at the window and I thought they were going to bust through it to get outside.Another was some black dudes with guns and looked like drugs on the table.We just said the property was foreclosing and were glad he didn't have anymore questions or offer for us to come inside.Door knocking in some areas isn't too bad.In others it is VERY dangerous.On the commercial side I just send out letters now.Those were my BRAVE and STUPID days back then!!

This would be similar to one of those "fake checks" that you may have gotten from auto dealers, where you come in and can get that amount of discount off a car.

Car dealer says they're get my in for maintenance mid-July.

We have a car dealer in D/FW that has a whole series of these GOOFY commercials with what I assume is the Sales Manager's dog.  

I recently had an older (10 years or so) Honda Civic sold for about 5K; 10 years old, almost 100K kilometers on it, but easily could've done another 100K with the right mechanic and so on, always dealer serviced etc.5K (and on-going maintenance etc.) is a great price for a car that's still safe (had all the modern safety functions of ABS, airbags, etc. and even had A/C!). 

Hot tubs, Blow up dolls, Sex toys, Drugs, You name it.

Weirdly they come into your room without regard and force drugs into tubes driven into your hand.

I don't know about Texas, but in California in certain areas we have a lot of meth or other drug addicts; and you never know what can happen entering a place.

I am neither an accountant nor an attorney, and I am not sure if someone else mentioned this, but you need to be mindful of the IRS designating YOU personally as a dealer.

Others have pointed me to local dealers who create a co-op of sorts for importing materials for homebuilders like me.
