With these types of programs, your funds may need to pass briefly through a custodian-held IRA account, but will ultimately reside in a bank/brokerage account of your choosing, and for which you alone have signing authority.

Ernesto you have to also realize the author is a real estate professional in the business.. what he does and what a mom and pop buy one or two properties does are completely different.. just like most folks are not going to be able to do what I do ..
