A lot of these people either just want to make Guru income, or want to use you to fund their own ventures, through what you pay them up front, and additionally "working with" you down the road like a syndicator.

I understand this is a modest proposal in a world of higher risk / higher return ventures here, but I have the funds to do this alongside of some other ventures and I'm wondering if I might as well put some of this money to work and see a bit more passive income generated.

I can't blame them for wanting to be profitable especially in light of the approaching IPO, but they used a lot of venture capital to attract realtors and buy out other brokerages.
